I’m an embedded software developer living in Japan. In June, 2010 I’ve got HTC Desire, which brought me into the wonderful world of Android. This site is about things I learned while trying to customise my phone to better suit my needs. I hope, someone will find it useful.

    Hi there!

I’m another HTC Desire user in Japan, looking into rooting, different ROMs, mms, and whatever useful customizations I can find. Was wondering if I can talk to you a bit about rooting / installing froyo / general Desire use in Japan.

If you have a moment to spare, I’d love to talk to you!

I don’t have any other phone besides original Desire. You might check XDA-devs forum for the latest DHD ROM before trying to roll your own, it’s always easier to lean on someone’s shoulders =)
