Today I’ve got the box from China widh my new HTC Desire:
Inserted Softbank SIM card and the phone instantly tuned itself to the local provider.
First impressions:
- internet browsing is very easy to use, compared to win-mobile devices
- touching screen with fingers leaves nasty fingerprints, yuck
- I don’t understand “pinyuin”, and would really prefer Japanese iME
It took about 2-3 days to receive the box after bidding on ebay. Price was steep, but definitely beats the long waiting — people are waiting 2-3 months for preorders.
